| wow! I just got back from seeing August Burns Red, Zao, Spoken, and Demon Hunter. It was an awesome show. August Burns Red is probably one of the tightest heavy bands I've heard. They're only like 18-20 years old which is rediculous. Anyway, I had a really good time. It was cool because the first time I started dancing I could tell I had respect. I think I was probably the best dancer there which is a really cool feeling. I'm really looking forward to As I Lay Dying, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, and Terror. That show is gonna be insane. It's July 17th. I am counting the days. | | |
| I am currently listening to the most metal album in the world. That's pretty cool. It's been a while since I've written on here. Some may know, some may not know.....that I have moved to Myrtle Beach, SC. Possibly just for the summer....maybe forever? Nah, I'll probably just be here for the summer, but I really do like it here. We are all settled into the apartment and it's starting to feel more like home...but of course it's not home. Nothing can replace Kingsport, Tn. haha. On a good note, I got hired on the spot at the Olive Garden the first day I went job searching....so that was a definite plus. Then, the night after my orientation I found out that I pretty much have a job at Carrabba's if I want it. So, now I have to make a choice. Carrabba's has always been my dream job so I'm 99% sure I will go for that so long as I land the job....which is almost a sure thing. So, we'll see what happens... I should probably know by at least tomorrow. So....things are going great and I hope we can have some people come down to visit. With that being said, if anyone would like to come down to ol' Myrtle Beach and stay with me....drop me a line. It will be somewhere around 75 dollars for 5 nights. Honestly you cant beat that. Either pay 140 a night at a hotel, or stay 5 days with me for 75 bucks each. And that would just be helping out with electricity, water, etc. Plus, you would get your own room(we have a whole bedroom that isnt being used at all), we have washer and dryer, dishwasher, cable, etc. We dont live right on the beach so it will quiet and not roudy. Also, we live no further than 10 minutes away from the beach. So, if anyone that knows me would like to make a cheap cheap cheap trip down to myrtle beach, forget the hotel and just drop me a line on here....or call me if you have my number. Hope all is well for everyone. I'll probably update more later on. All I can say is that I am having a good time. I saw Throwdown live and it ruled, and.....yeah that's it. | | |
| uh haw haw haw haw. What's a goin on. I'm ready for school to be out. I'm ready for the suuummmer. yeah woo. | | |
| Would anyone like to go see Copeland/Cartel/The Starting Line at Tremont in Charlotte on Wed. March 1. I dont want to go alone...but I will. My "awesome" girlfriend decided her friends were even more "awesome" than me. That leaves me with no one to go with. It's coming up pretty soon so get with me soon. Snowboarding Thursday...I missed last week because of the AHS show..so I'm excited to be going. Speaking of AHS, show on Saturday the 25th at Viking Hall. It's a benefit show for cancer if I'm not mistaken. AHS cares about taking care of cancer patients. So should you. Come support! | | |
| The show was amazing. This has been a really great weekend. It has also
been very crazy....work, school, shows. Thanks to everyone who came out
and supported. Thanks to everyone who donated money for Brandon's
family. I know he was watching everyone there. I know he saw me on The
Fire Escape stage twice. I know he saw me tearing up that pit. It's
been a very emotional weekend. I feel like Brandon's death has really
pulled me closer to the few friends I do have. I for sure am thankful
for that. Heck, it pulled AATA back together for one night. I wish it
could be for more than one night though. Who knows......we will see. Be
safe.
